This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently outdoors, takes pride in their work, and communicates professionally with customers. As a technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving lakes, ponds, and water features throughout the South Florida communities. Key Responsibilities Manage and control aquatic vegetation and algae at assigned lake and pond accounts Perform routine water testing and assist with fish stocking and other aquatic services Communicate professionally with customers, including HOAs, property managers, and property owners Represent Superior Waterway Services positively within the community Accurately document service activities using company software Assist with additional water management services as needed Requirements Ability to read and understand herbicide labels, safety rules, and operating procedures Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Team-oriented mindset Comfortable speaking with customers about lake and pond conditions and solutions Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience in lawn care, pest control, or related outdoor service work (preferred) Mechanical or electrical experience is a plus, but not required Some college coursework is helpful but not necessary Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working on or near water, uneven terrain, and heavy vegetation Ability to safely operate boats, trucks, ATVs, and other equipment Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment Additional Requirements Valid, clean driver's license (must meet insurance requirements) Reliable transportation to and from work Full-time availability only Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening Work Location One primary location In-person position (no remote work) Benefits Competitive hourly pay Company-issued cell phone Paid personal time off and paid holidays Health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term disability, supplemental life insurance, and flexible spending accounts 401(k) with company match
