Maintenance Technician Casa Ybel Resort | Sanibel Island, FL Casa Ybel Resort is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our historic beachfront property. Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep across resort buildings, guest units, and grounds to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting) Conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to service requests Maintain resort grounds, common areas, and back-of-house spaces Troubleshoot issues and recommend long-term solutions Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Work collaboratively with housekeeping, front desk, and management teams

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or holidays Valid driver's license preferred
