Senior Pool Cleaning Technician The Pool Keepers Santa Rosa Beach, FL Full-Time | Year-Round About Us For 19 years, The Pool Keepers has provided superior pool cleaning, maintenance, and repair services throughout 30A and the Emerald Coast. We are a locally owned, established company known for dependable service, quality work, and taking pride in every pool we maintain. We are looking for an experienced Senior Pool Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on senior field position for an experienced pool professional who can manage their own service route while also helping maintain service quality across our team. The Senior Pool Cleaning Technician will assist with quality control, technician training, field support, and oversight of other Pool Cleaning Technicians. What We Offer

- Complete an assigned residential and/or commercial pool service route
- Skim, brush, vacuum, and thoroughly clean swimming pools
- Test, balance, and maintain proper pool water chemistry
- Empty baskets and clean filters, tile, and equipment as needed
- Inspect pool equipment and identify potential maintenance or repair needs
- Troubleshoot water chemistry and pool condition issues
- Accurately document completed service using our mobile app
- Maintain a clean and organized company truck, tools, and equipment
- Provide professional and courteous customer service Senior Technician & Quality Control
- Assist with overseeing the quality and consistency of pool service performed by other technicians
- On call rotation for weekend emergencies
- Perform field quality-control inspections and identify areas needing improvement
- Help ensure company cleaning standards and service procedures are consistently followed
- Provide field support and guidance to Pool Cleaning Technicians
- Help troubleshoot difficult pool conditions, water chemistry issues, and service concerns
- Communicate recurring service or performance issues to management
- Assist management with maintaining efficient and high-quality service routes Training & Team Support
- Train and onboard new Pool Cleaning Technicians
- Provide hands-on instruction in pool cleaning, water chemistry, equipment inspections, and company procedures
- Coach technicians on service quality, efficiency, documentation, and customer service
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for less-experienced technicians
- Help reinforce company standards and a culture of accountability, teamwork, and superior service Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional pool cleaning and maintenance experience preferred
- Strong residential pool service experience required
- Commercial pool service experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pool water chemistry and proper chemical handling
- Experience identifying common pool equipment and maintenance issues
- Previous experience training, leading, or mentoring other technicians preferred
- Ability to recognize service-quality issues and provide constructive direction
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional and positive attitude
- Comfortable using a mobile app to document service
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in Florida weather
- Able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle heavier equipment with assistance when needed The Right Person for This Role We're looking for someone who knows pool service, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and can help others do the same.
