Maintenance Technician - Senior Living Community Spring Haven Senior Living | Winter Haven, FL Full-Time | $18.00 - $23.00 Per Hour Hiring Immediately Looking for a Maintenance Position Where Your Skills Actually Matter? Spring Haven Senior Living is seeking a reliable, experienced, and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is not a specialty trade position. We're looking for a true "Swiss Army Knife" maintenance professional who can confidently tackle a variety of maintenance challenges throughout our community. If you're the type of person who can repair drywall in the morning, complete plumbing repairs in the afternoon, assist with apartment turns, and troubleshoot maintenance issues throughout the day, we'd love to speak with you. Our maintenance team plays a critical role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Compensation $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, technical ability, reliability, and overall maintenance knowledge. Candidates with maintenance experience in large apartment communities, senior living communities, healthcare facilities, hotels, resorts, or commercial properties are strongly encouraged to apply. Competitive hourly pay Stable full-time employment Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Career advancement opportunities Supportive leadership team Positive team environment Meaningful work serving seniors in our community What You'll Be Doing Responding to resident service requests and work orders Completing drywall repairs and patching Interior and exterior painting Basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacement Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs Door, lock, and hardware repairs Preventive maintenance tasks Apartment turns and move-in preparations Carpentry and general repairs Facility inspections Building and grounds maintenance Maintaining community common areas Assisting with community projects and renovations Responding to maintenance emergencies as needed This position requires someone who enjoys variety and can successfully manage multiple work orders throughout the day while maintaining excellent customer service. On-Call Rotation This position participates in our maintenance on-call program. Maintenance team members rotate on-call responsibilities, which generally results in being on call for approximately one week per month . Candidates must be willing and able to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when assigned to the on-call schedule. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following environments is highly desirable: Senior living communities Apartment communities Assisted Living facilities Independent Living communities Healthcare facilities Skilled Nursing facilities Hotels and hospitality environments Commercial facilities Additional experience with the following is a plus: Drywall repair and finishing Painting Plumbing Electrical troubleshooting Carpentry Flooring repairs Appliance repairs Lock and hardware repairs HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting Experience maintaining a large campus, multi-building property, apartment community, or similar environment is highly preferred.
