Regular travel to facilities throughout Tampa, Orlando, and surrounding areas Join Luner Facility Maintenance as a part-time handyman and 1099 independent contractor. This hands-on, traveling position is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys working at different locations and completing a variety of maintenance and repair projects. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability, knowledge of multiple trades, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality customer service. You will help keep our clients' facilities safe, functional, and properly maintained. What We Offer Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule Eight-hour workdays Some weekend work may be available Competitive pay based on experience Biweekly payments Mileage reimbursement of $0.50 per mile for the first 90 days Performance-based bonuses Company vehicle and gas card after 90 days Company-provided tool kit after 90 days Positive and supportive work environment Opportunities to grow with the company Duties and Responsibilities Travel to facilities in Tampa, Orlando, and surrounding areas Complete routine and complex maintenance and repair projects Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building interior systems Perform general carpentry and building repairs Repair and patch drywall Complete interior and exterior painting Perform basic plumbing repairs, including addressing leaks and blockages Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs within your qualifications Perform basic HVAC inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting Identify electrical or HVAC problems that require a licensed technician Install and repair tile Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify maintenance problems Read basic schematics and technical diagrams when needed Lead small maintenance projects independently or with supervision Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, materials, and parts used Keep work areas, tools, and company vehicles clean and organized Communicate job progress, concerns, and material needs to management Explain maintenance issues clearly and professionally to clients Identify and report additional repairs that may be needed Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations Provide excellent customer service at every location Qualifications At least three years of handyman, facility maintenance, MRO, remodeling, or construction experience preferred Knowledge of multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and tile Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Ability to read basic schematics and technical diagrams Experience using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment Must own and maintain the basic tools needed for work during the first 90 days Welding or programmable logic controller experience is a plus but not required Professional appearance and attitude Strong communication and customer-service skills Dependable, punctual, organized, and efficient Able to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willing and able to travel throughout Tampa, Orlando, and surrounding areas Able to perform the physical duties required for facility maintenance work Must provide the required documentation to work as a 1099 independent contractor If you are dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in keeping facilities operating smoothly, we want to hear from you.
