Nile Automotive is a Tier 2 automotive supplier specializing in plastic injection molding. With two plants in Georgia and Tennessee, we provide high-quality parts to leading OEM and Tier 1 manufacturers.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in injection molding to join our team in Cumming, GA . This role focuses on maintaining and repairing injection molding machines (55 ton - 1300 ton), auxiliary equipment, and supporting production uptime. Pay ranges from $25 - $35 /hr depending on injection molding experience and technical competency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, preventative, and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, robotics, chillers, dryers, grinders, and related equipment. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Disassemble, clean, replace parts, and reassemble machinery as needed. Install, align, and set up new molding equipment and related production machinery. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to support repairs and upgrades. Assist with plant utilities, pumps, heaters, fans, and other systems to support production operations. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety/OSHA standards. Support production teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining plastic injection molding machines (55 ton - 1300 ton) and auxiliary equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting. Welding and fabrication skills preferred. High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment. Flexibility to work scheduled overtime and respond to urgent production demands.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
