Job Description

Property Maintenance Technician •HVAC Experience Preferred We are seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have general maintenance experience with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and apartment make-readies. Responsibilities Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Diagnose and perform basic HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance. Perform basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, faucets, sinks, drains, and leaks. Troubleshoot and complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, fixtures, and lighting. Complete painting, drywall patching, touch-ups, and minor carpentry repairs. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including make-readies and unit turns. Inspect apartments, buildings, and common areas for maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain community grounds and assist with general property upkeep as needed. Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in on-call rotation, when required. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check Previous apartment, residential, or general maintenance experience preferred. HVAC experience preferred; HVAC certification is a plus. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and general repairs. Ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs independently. Must be dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple work orders. Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
