AB_5063606 The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems including the following: complex conveyor belts, palletizers, automation equipment, PLCs, water systems, steam boilers, etc. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant components while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing spare parts inventory, recommending tool and equipment purchases, and assisting in process improvements. The technician will also support projects, oversee lower-level technicians, and contribute to training initiatives.

$68,640 - $76,972 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities 3-5 years of experience in machine operations, facility maintenance, and high-volume conveying systems. 3 years of PLC and advanced electrical maintenance/repair experience. Familiarity with motors, water systems, PLC controls, and large-volume washers. Experience with welding, pipe installation/repair, and heating/boiler units. The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 45lbs standing for 8 hours at one time working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week working weekends Skills Mechanical Maintenance (4 years of experience is required) PLC Troubleshooting (3 years of experience is required) Blueprint Reading Electrical 480V (4 years of experience is preferred) Automation Troubleshooting (4 years of experience is required) Pallet Wrapper Troubleshooting Complex Conveyor Repair (4 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 4 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
