Full Job Description Job Description:
Harris Door and Millwork is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as an Interior Door Builder. This position involves assembling interior door units, operating tools and machines, and ensuring each door meets quality standards before it leaves the shop. You'll be part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment where craftsmanship and accuracy are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble interior doors using raw materials, components, and hand/pneumatic tools Operate saws, drills, staplers, and other door shop equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret work orders and door specifications Inspect completed doors for quality, accuracy, and appearance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation Work with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of tools Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn and take direction Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or door assembly is a plus but not required Dependable with a positive attitude and a team-first mindset
