Job Description
PRODUCTION OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
The operator position is assigned to a designated line and position in the production area to provide, maintain, and oversee the necessary controls, tasks, and operation of the line for processing quality material and products. Competitive pay based on experience and shift differential opportunities available. Primary Job Functions Ensure the line is set up to the proper operating instructions Maintain line processes to ensure only quality products are being produced Ensure all material and products processed in the production area of assigned line conform to internal product specification Perform continuous visual inspection of product to determine quality and process adherence Perform mechanical inspection of product and process using measuring and test equipment Perform physical inspection of product and raw material to test or measure for quality characteristics Ensure proper disposition of product and materials Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and support area Maintain constant presence at designated work area Must work closely with assistant operators to maintain line and produce a quality product Required Skills- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lift 20 lbs over head
- Forklift certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to work in hot or cold manufacturing environment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and balance
- Ability to work with co-workers displaying good teamwork skills Desired Skills

8a-8p or 8p-8a, 12-hour Continental Shifts ( 2-2-3 ) We are a Drug-Free workplace.
