The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks in a commercial fitness setting. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to work with hand tools, strong computer skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment. Perform fixture installation and ensure proper functionality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, especially on the main gym floor. Assist in construction estimating for upcoming projects. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during maintenance tasks. Execute usage of our ordering systems. Work with other Facility Managers to accomplish repairs on time. Build and assemble structures or components as required by project specifications. Travel to different locations in the metro Atlanta area within 30 miles. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong knowledge of construction site protocols and safety regulations. Ability to perform fixture installations with precision. Experience in construction estimating is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Welding skills are desirable for various maintenance tasks. Experience in painting and plastering techniques is needed. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
