Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining pristine outdoor aquatic environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and optimal operation of swimming pools and surrounding landscapes. Your expertise will help create inviting, well-maintained outdoor spaces that delight clients and enhance their outdoor living experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine outdoor work, technical skills, and landscaping knowledge in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal to maintain optimal water clarity. Conduct water chemistry balancing by testing pH levels, chlorine, alkalinity, and other chemical agents to ensure safe swimming conditions. Handle water treatment chemicals responsibly, adhering to safety protocols for chemical agent handling and storage. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools. Maintain and inspect pool plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions; perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting equipment or chemicals. Document all maintenance activities meticulously and report any issues requiring further technical attention or escalation. Experience Prior experience working with aquatic facilities or in pool maintenance is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with pool chemistry balancing and water treatment chemical handling procedures. Hands-on experience with pool plumbing systems, equipment repair, and routine maintenance tasks. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients regarding pool care needs. Outdoor work experience that demonstrates comfort working in varying weather conditions. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for maintenance tasks. Requirements Valid Driver's License Dependable & Punctual Great attention to detail Comfortable working outdoors Good customer service skills Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Some Saturday's and Evenings may be required as needed. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
