$20.00-$25.00 Job description: Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. Experience with programmable logic controllers, schematics, and CMMS systems is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where leadership and customer service skills are valued. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of supervising maintenance activities when needed. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Repair or replace faulty components including motors, switches, wiring, and pneumatic systems. Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machine performance. Conduct welding repairs and residential painting as required for facility upkeep. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist in facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service to internal teams by promptly addressing maintenance needs. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting with schematics and ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding and residential painting preferred. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings. Supervising experience is a plus; leadership skills are highly valued. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in customer service within a technical setting is advantageous.
