In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of building systems and equipment to provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests and staff. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facilities maintenance will help uphold the highest standards of property integrity and guest satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance efforts with energy, precision, and a customer-focused mindset. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical equipment, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including servicing air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated building functions and troubleshoot control system faults. Carry out welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), plumbing repairs, and general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold building standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or other R&O (Repair & Operations) tools. Supervise or assist with the work of contractors or junior team members when necessary to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively and execute repairs efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all maintenance procedures while providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and staff. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential environments. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of electrical work, electrical equipment repair, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance & repair, carpentry, welding, painting (including residential painting), and general mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, CMMS software usage, and Ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to coordinate team efforts effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to clearly document work orders and collaborate with team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
