The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all residents and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and PTAC. Conduct repairs on various equipment and systems as needed. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the facility. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in electrical work, including understanding wiring diagrams and safety protocols. Experience in residential painting is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Skills in welding are a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for electrical testing is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records of work performed. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
