Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintenance Technician | Estherville, Iowa | 3rd shift $28.00 - $37.00/hr DOE (for 3rd shift, add $2.00/hr shift premium) Enjoy fixing machinery and solving faults? Ready for a hands-on role that keeps production moving? The role Moveero is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and plant facilities. You will support the reliable operation of metal fabrication equipment, material-handling systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and electrical systems. This hands-on position requires substantial time on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test machinery to identify faults, wear, and misalignment.
  • Diagnose problems by monitoring equipment performance.
  • Dismantle machinery and replace or repair defective components.
  • Clean, lubricate, align, and adjust shafts, bearings, gears, spindles, and clutches.
  • Install and repair transformers, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic pipework, valves, gauges, and pressure regulators.
  • Install, program, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machinery, and robots.
  • Use welding and cutting equipment to repair or join metal components.
  • Complete general repairs to the plant's physical structures.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors.

  • At least two years of experience or education in installing and repairing 110V, 220V, and 440V three-phase electrical systems.
  • At least two years of experience or education involving PLC and CNC machine controls.
  • The ability to read blueprints and electrical or mechanical schematics.
  • Strong, systematic troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work safely in a moderately noisy manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
