This position will split time between two apartment communities in Johnston , helping ensure our properties are well-maintained and our residents receive timely, quality service. We believe teamwork is essential to providing a great experience for our residents. The ideal candidate will have some previous maintenance, repair, construction, or related hands-on experience , but extensive experience is not required. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, willing to learn, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities include:

Performing routine property maintenance and repairs Troubleshooting and completing basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs Completing daily grounds cleanup and maintaining the overall appearance of the properties Preparing apartment homes for new residents, including painting, minor repairs, carpet removal, and other turnover tasks Installing and repairing appliances as needed Assisting with lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal Responding to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Participating in an evening and weekend on-call rotation as scheduled Traveling between two Johnston properties as needed

What We're Looking For:

Some previous maintenance, repair, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repairs Dependable with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities Willingness to learn and expand maintenance skills Valid driver's license Own basic hand tools Availability for scheduled evening and weekend on-call responsibilities If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
