Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical guardian of operational uptime by ensuring complex machinery remains in peak condition. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and precision assembly to optimize system performance and drive long-term reliability across our facility. Responsibilities Execute precise installation, alignment, and repair of industrial machinery to minimize downtime and maximize output. Perform intricate mechanical adjustments on bearings, gears, shafts, and motors to ensure optimal system integration. Utilize advanced rigging and elevated work platforms, including scissor lifts and JLG equipment, to conduct repairs in challenging environments. Diagnose and resolve complex issues within material handling systems, including conveyors, monorails, and automated storage units. Maintain accurate documentation of preventative maintenance activities to support data-driven equipment lifecycle management. Interpret technical blueprints and mechanical schematics to guide effective troubleshooting and system modifications. Apply expert welding and fabrication skills to restore equipment integrity and support structural repairs. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in industrial maintenance. Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter with a focus on safety and precision. Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical design documentation. Valid forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment. Preferred Skills Advanced technical training or vocational certification in industrial mechanics. Deep familiarity with automated material handling and ASRS systems. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on preventative maintenance strategies.
