Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine inspections. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems - plastic extrusion blow and injection molding machines to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with team members on construction projects or equipment upgrades to improve facility performance. Skills Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices across diverse mechanical and electrical systems. Skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed. Pay:
$18.50 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
