CRF Rentals LLC is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Waterloo. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and can look at a problem and figure out how to get it fixed. The position involves everything from everyday maintenance and repairs to larger property rehab projects and coordinating with subcontractors when specialized work is needed. Full-time is ideal, but we are willing to consider part-time for the right person.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Handle day-to-day maintenance and repair needs as issues arise throughout our properties Respond to tenant maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner Perform general repairs and upkeep, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, fixtures, appliances, and other building maintenance Complete property inspections and identify maintenance needs Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for larger or specialized repairs Assist with property turnovers, including painting, repairs, cleanup, and general improvements Perform preventative maintenance and address small issues before they become larger problems Help maintain the overall appearance and condition of our rental properties

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable Hands-on and mechanically inclined A good problem solver who can figure things out independently Comfortable working with a variety of tools and completing different types of repairs Able to prioritize multiple maintenance needs Comfortable communicating with tenants, vendors, and subcontractors Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work Self-motivated and able to work independently Willing to jump in and tackle whatever needs to be done Previous maintenance, construction, remodeling, property management, or skilled-trade experience is preferred, but we're willing to consider the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
