Position Summary The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing production and facility equipment that supports pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing. This role helps ensure equipment reliability, product quality, and safe plant operations through preventive and corrective maintenance. Essential Job Functions Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems. Maintain equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, purified water systems, pumps, tablet presses, encapsulators, and packaging equipment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Assist with equipment installations and facility improvement projects. Complete maintenance documentation and maintain accurate service records. Support inventory of maintenance parts and supplies. Follow cGMP, safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and confined space procedures. Work independently while collaborating with production and facility teams. Qualifications/Skills Experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment; pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools. Experience with HVAC, compressed air, water systems, pumps, or production equipment is preferred. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safe work practices. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, LOTO, and confined space procedures Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Required Education/Experience Associate degree or Industrial Maintenance certification (preferred) 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or FDA-regulated environments
