Full Job Description Description:
Experts in the art of hospitality, Idaho Central Arena and Block22 Companies create memorable experiences. We are a destination for experiences beyond the ordinary, the heart of downtown Boise. As an Arena Operations Technician, you will help ensure the arena is safely and efficiently prepared for all events by supporting general operations, maintenance, and event changeovers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with facility maintenance, custodial tasks, and operational setup Operate small tools, light-duty vehicles, and the ice resurfacer safely and effectively Perform event changeovers for hockey, basketball, concerts, family shows, graduations, and more Help oversee and support the work of changeover crews during event transitions Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment and perform minor repairs Maintain usage records for vehicles and equipment Promote safe working practices and perform site safety checks Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, guests, and management Attend department meetings and required training sessions Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in facility operations, maintenance, or similar roles preferred Working knowledge of small tool and equipment operation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Commitment to providing excellent service for guests, staff, and partners
Physical Requirements:
