Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support efficient production processes. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and replace worn, damaged, or misaligned chains, sprockets, and related drive components. Perform shaft alignments and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance. Inspect, replace, lubricate, and maintain bearings, shafts, housings, and other rotating equipment components. Adjust motor mounts, perform motor alignments, and complete electrical rewiring as needed. Utilize multimeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and control system issues. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to enhance equipment longevity and operational efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and power transmission systems. Working knowledge of electrical techniques and industrial maintenance best practices. Thorough understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety standards. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and resolve equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance records.
