Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems across our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute directly to the seamless operation of our manufacturing or residential properties, supporting both team productivity and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Conduct welding repairs, electrical wiring, and mechanical adjustments to maintain facility infrastructure Assist with residential painting projects to improve property aesthetics and upkeep Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset histories Supervise or assist junior maintenance staff during complex repairs or projects, fostering teamwork and safety compliance Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools, chemicals, or hazardous materials to maintain a secure work environment Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential settings with a strong mechanical background Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques including the use of ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools Skilled in welding techniques and electrical wiring installation or repair Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and repairs Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and supervisors Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance projects or oversee junior staff effectively Strong customer service orientation to address internal client needs promptly and professionally Join us if you're passionate about maintaining high standards of facility operations!
