We are a fast-growing manufacturing company producing utility jugs and associated accessories. We take pride in running an efficient operation and delivering high-quality products to our customers. We're looking for a Machine Mechanic to join our team and keep our equipment operating at its best.
Position Summary :
The Maintenance is responsible for ensuring machines run efficiently, minimizing downtime, and producing high-quality products. This role involves performing repairs, scheduled maintenance, mold changes, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep assigned machines running smoothly and producing top-quality products during each shift. Perform mold changes and mold maintenance as scheduled or required. Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Replace and install components such as motors, belts, sensors, fuses, heaters, conveyor belts, and other production equipment parts. Perform routine and preventative maintenance according to schedules. Read and interpret maintenance logs, technical manuals, and schematics. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with operators and supervisors to improve machine performance and reduce downtime. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and implement effective solutions. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Must be able to safely operate a forklift. Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with standing, bending, and climbing.
