American Equipment & Fabricating Corp. (AmQuip) is seeking a Crane Maintenance Technician in Virginia Beach, VA. In this safety-first, team-oriented role, you'll perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mobile and overhead cranes and related lifting equipment for construction and industrial clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; documenting work; and ensuring full compliance with OSHA and company standards. You'll work both in the field and shop, collaborate closely with experienced technicians, and build a long-term career with a stable, growing crane solutions provider. Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mobile and overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical crane systems. Conduct safety inspections and document findings in accordance with OSHA and company standards. Diagnose equipment failures in the field and coordinate parts, tools, and repairs. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. Collaborate with operations and dispatch to schedule and prioritize service calls. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inspection reports. Follow all site-specific and company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout practices. Communicate clearly with customers on repair status, findings, and recommended actions. Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, reliability, and uptime.
