Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and mechanical devices to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacements, ductwork adjustments, and system calibrations to maintain indoor comfort levels. Execute plumbing maintenance tasks such as leak repairs, pipe replacements, and system diagnostics to prevent disruptions. Utilize welding skills for metal repairs or fabrications needed within the building infrastructure. Carry out carpentry work including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and interior fixture installations to uphold building aesthetics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procedures and schematics documentation. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repair projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues efficiently and enhance customer service experience. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in building interior maintenance and facilities equipment upkeep. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment repair and understanding electrical schematics. Experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and routine servicing to ensure climate control standards are met. Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for residential or commercial settings. Ability to operate hand tools effectively along with specialized tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems for efficient facility management. Welding expertise for metal fabrication or repairs requiring precision welding techniques. Competence in reading schematics and technical manuals related to electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing layouts, and mechanical devices. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with guests or team members. Leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards across all maintenance activities.
