Position Information $39.43 hourly The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. St. Louis. In this role, you will be responsibe for the preventative maintenance of treatment plant equipment including hydraulics, chemical feed systems, analyzers, pumps, motors, valves and more. Our ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be eager to learn the water industry. Knowledge/Skills Strong work ethic, time management and organizational and team membership skills Ability to communicate well and to work with minimal supervision. Good mechanical skills Ability to start up, shut down, and make operating adjustments to all equipment for proper continued operation Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs Basic computer skills are required Education/Experience High school degree or equivalent required Mechanical and/or electrical experience or training is desired 0-2 years of experience working in water industry Shifts/Hours Full-time Thursday - Sunday 10PM - 6:30AM •Changes in hours may become necessary for continued operation of Business•Certifications Class C Water Operator License required after 2 years in position Class A Water Operator License required after 4 years in position. Class C driver's license and D.O.T. medical card required within 30 days of being awarded position
