• Maintenance Tech/Electrician 3rd shift
• Maintenance Tech/Electrician Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and industrial equipment.

This position diagnoses electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, replaces faulty components, and supports safe and efficient plant operations while following quality, safety, and 5S standards. Responsibilities Installs and maintains electrical systems that operate on alternating or direct current circuits, generators, transformers, and appliances through panels, switches, meters, and circuit breakers. Repairs motors and other electrical/electronic controls. Repairs and maintains electrical switchboards, panels, and other apparatus utilizing electricity. Tests malfunctioning machinery to diagnose malfunctioning equipment. Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices. Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Replaces electric motor bearings and reconnects motors. Pushes buttons and presses keys on teach pendant, and programmable controller to program automated machinery to test for malfunctions and to verify repairs. Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic electrical components of machines and equipment. Support the Plant quality systems goals/improvements & productivity goals/improvements within the scope of the job. Support the Plant safety programs/goals within the scope of the job. Regular and predictable attendance. Compliance with applicable Company, Corporate, State, & Federal regulations. 5S (Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standardize, and Sustain) is required of every job. Education Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience. Completion of any formalized training courses as identified by Department Supervisor/Facilities Engineering Manager.
