Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a Contract with a client in Gurnee, IL. The ideal candidate with skilled in independently troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in manufacturing environments.
Rate Range:
$20/hour to $33/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Maintenance Technician II Job Responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, automation systems, auxiliary equipment, and facility systems. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and restore production equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability. Support equipment installations, upgrades, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintenance of robotic/automated systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records, follow LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, technical certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent industrial maintenance training preferred. Minimum 10 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to independently diagnose complex equipment failures. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding, automation, and production equipment, preferably within FDA-regulated or
ISO 13485

Pay Details:
