II ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under close supervision, employee will perform entry-level tasks for electrical or mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance activities. Employee should understand, and be able to perform the following: L.O.T.O.- Understands principles and follows established protocol for application. Arc Flash/Shock Hazard
- Understands application and can properly interpret labels. PPE
- Understands availability, and follows established guidelines for use e.g., FR rated garments, insulating gloves, Helmet/Face Shield, Arc Flash rated garments, Safety glasses, portable GFCI plug device. Computer Maintenance Management Software/SAP
- Demonstrates the ability to consistently utilize all functional aspects per Work Instruction 9.1-WI-15001 & 9.2-WI-15100. Multi-Meter Test Instrument
- Understands principles of operation and can make measurements in accordance with most available functions. Non-Contact Voltage Tester (Inductance Testers)
- Understand proper use, and limitations. Facility Power Distribution
- Understands operating voltage levels, and general arrangement of distribution as it applies to this facility. Ability to properly use common hand tools e.g., screw drivers, wrenches, torque wrenches etc. Fluid Pumps
- Have knowledge of the two (2) basic pump types (Centrifugal & Positive Displacement), the differences in performance and sub-types of each. Equipment Calibration
- Can perform calibration/geometric alignment of equipment with 2 axis interpolation. Fluid Power Systems
- Possesses advanced knowledge of schematic interpretation, and system integration for the purpose of fault-finding, facilitation of repair and performance of P.M. events. All predominant OEM types. Pneumatic Systems
- Possesses advanced knowledge of schematic interpretation, and system integration for the purpose of fault-finding, facilitation of repair and performance of P.M. events. All predominant OEM types. Linear guides
- Understands plain bearing (sliding) linear guide systems, the varying types used (box, dovetail, shaft, and bushing), dimensioning relationships. Perform gib adjustments and perform replacement and alignment of such systems. Linear guides
- Understands the fundamentals of rolling element designs (recirculating or non-recirculating) and perform replacement and alignment of such systems. Mechanical Assemblies
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of design, and integration of systems for the purpose of fault-finding, facilitation of repair, and performance of P.M events e.g., bearings, ball screws, fluid pumps, clutch systems, and linear
- motion support systems (plain bearing, rolling element).
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Certificate or degree in the discipline of Electro-Mechanical Technologies preferred but not required. Demonstrated skills through work experience acceptable.Experience:
0- 2 years Computer Skills Basic computer skills helpful in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
