Job Description

The nature of the Forklift and Facility Maintenance position involves a variety of facilities related tasks, such as: external/internal building repairs, preventative maintenance and safety and licensing concerns. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below: Performs general maintenance and repairs on equipment, fixtures, systems, and facilities in support of overall building operations. Ability to diagnose and perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on a variety of powered industrial equipment. General carpentry and repair of facility structures as well as minor plumbing work. Perform monthly preventative maintenance visits for each assigned area. Order materials, update and/or create work orders and provide status updates Maintain fleet of 70+ electric forklifts Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance work Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years' experience performing general maintenance and repairs on forklifts is required. 2+ years related facility maintenance experience is required Technical skills and knowledge of general industrial maintenance - electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, machining, carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and heating. Basic computer skills are required for researching needed parts & supply orders Welding experience required. High school diploma or GED required.
