You should be comfortable using property management software, mobile apps, Google Sheets, email, and internet-based tools to document work orders, communicate with the team, and track maintenance activity. At least 2 years of experience in housing-related maintenance. You reside within the Bloomington/Normal area. You have the physical capability to perform all parts of the job. You'll need to bring your own basic tools. High school diploma or equivalent and to pass a background screening. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using AppFolio and google sheets with a tablet. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Adhere to safety protocols. Be willing to learn and improve both your maintenance and technology skills.
