Maintenance Technician - Electrical & Mechanical Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician - Electrical & Mechanical for a manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) skills. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, and supporting safe, reliable production operations.

11:00 PM - 7:00
AM Pay:
$30.00 per hour Full-time hours available Must be available to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities Electrical Diagnostics:
Troubleshoot, test, and repair industrial low- and high-voltage power distribution systems, including 3-phase circuits up to 450V-480V, motor starters, VFDs, electrical panels, sensors, and control systems.
Mechanical Maintenance:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components. Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures and identify root causes to minimize production downtime. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. Safely perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance, repair, or servicing of equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Test electrical components and circuits using appropriate diagnostic and test equipment. Repair, replace, and install motors, controls, sensors, switches, electrical components, and mechanical parts. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, rebuilds, and upgrades. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and provide timely troubleshooting and repairs. Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment issues. Work closely with production and maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, electrical safety procedures, and LOTO requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems up to 450V-480V . Strong mechanical maintenance and repair skills. Experience troubleshooting motors, motor starters, VFDs, electrical panels, sensors, and control systems. Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work safely around energized and mechanical equipment in accordance with established safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be available to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, cold, wet, noisy, or physically demanding. Strong communication and organizational skills.
