Responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to: Provide maintenance leadership, oversee project work, and perform supervisory duties and shift passdowns in the absence of the Superintendent. Perform high-level mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance activities (PMs, CMs, EMs) using Maximo. Coordinate system shutdowns and manage contract labor to minimize equipment downtime and ensure system reliability. Develop root cause solutions for continuous improvement while collaborating with engineers, vendors, contractors, and plant management. Candidates for Maintenance Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered: High School Diploma or GED required (Technical School Training preferred). 4-5 years of prior facilities maintenance experience operating complex mechanical systems (boilers, chillers, air compressors, HVAC). Pharmaceutical industry experience (specifically Water for Injection, Baxter specifications, or control systems) is highly preferred. Must NOT be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporins.
