Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Mechanic with 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. In addition we prefer two years of post-high school education in technical / trades . In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our production lines running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll work closely with the senior engineer and lead mechanic, executing line setups, reading technical documents, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
Responsibilities Line Setup & Execution:
Perform, monitor, and optimize manufacturing line setups according to production schedules and specifications.
Troubleshooting:
Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly resolve mechanical and electrical issues and minimize downtime.
Collaboration:
Take direction effectively and work seamlessly alongside senior engineer, lead mechanics, and production staff.
Documentation & Planning:
Read, interpret, and work directly from Bill of Materials(BOM) and technical drawings to ensure precise line configuration.
Maintenance & Quality:
Conduct routine mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and quality checks on line equipment. Experience 2-5 years proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment with a strong focus on equipment troubleshooting and repair. Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrician practices including electrical blueprint reading, electrical maintenance, and repair.
Line Setup:
Prior experience with manufacturing line setup required.
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply new skills
Problem-Solving:
Proven troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective mechanical and electrical solutions.
Teamwork:
Strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction and collaborate with senior technical staff.
Pay:
$25.93 - $31.22 per hour
