Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman/Construction Remodeler to join our team. We do a lot of kitchens and bath remodels, build additions, screen rooms, install windows & repair & build decks. We remodel salons, small school and other commercial spaces. Also we do a good deal of flooring, tile work, lots of painting and drywall, carpentry, faucet & toilet repairs, outlets, hang light fixtures, ceiling fans, doors, etc. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of repair and remodeling projects across residential and commercial properties. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and efficient project execution are essential to succeed. You would need to be skilled in operating power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and hand tools safely and effectively to complete projects efficiently. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions effectively. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and painting to maintain property standards. Execute remodeling projects such as cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, window installation, and fixture installation. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with building codes. Collaborate with team members on construction management tasks and ensuring project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials or tools. Experience Proven hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, with a strong background in carpentry, drywall installation, tile work, minor plumbing and electrical. Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating costs and interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing basics, window installation techniques, and restoration processes is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while working on various construction sites or outdoor environments. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
