As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of our hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and equipment. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that our hotel is always in top condition for our guests. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and friendly, professional manner Inspect and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Options Company Paid Life Insurance Company Paid Telemedicine Supplemental Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Earned Wage Access ("on-demand pay") Hotel Room Discounts Company Paid Employee Assistance Program Perks through Benefit Hub Generous Time Off Package General Hotels Corporation is committed to enriching lives through award-winning hospitality.
