Job Description

Maintenance Technician - Apartment Community We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at a multifamily apartment community. This position is responsible for service requests, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, grounds upkeep, and emergency repairs, ensuring the property is well-maintained and move-in ready. Responsibilities Perform maintenance repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry Complete apartment make-readies, painting, and unit turns Respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance emergencies Conduct preventive maintenance (filters, inspections, smoke detectors, A/C coils) Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment Assist with vendor coordination and capital repair projects Maintain community grounds, common areas, and pool (if applicable) Qualifications 1-3 years of multifamily maintenance or apartment maintenance experience Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair Experience with preventive maintenance programs Ability to prioritize work orders and meet deadlines Must provide own tools and reliable transportation Benefits 401(k) with employer contribution Paid Time Off (PTO) 11 Paid Holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employee life insurance Requirements Valid driver's license and automobile insurance On-call rotation and weekend availability Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance
