Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately. Repair and replace faulty components on equipment including motors, drives, sensors, switches, and control panels. Operate and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems to support manufacturing processes. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct welding (stick welding), electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and repairs with safety as a top priority. Read electrical schematics and blueprints to identify system layouts and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Assist in the calibration of precision instruments and ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical and mechanical systems. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts during system upgrades or new installations while providing excellent customer service internally. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Skilled in the use of testing tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including low voltage systems, electrical maintenance, and electrical system repairs. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems along with the ability to perform HVAC troubleshooting or repairs when needed. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks; certification preferred. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management; previous experience is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanic tasks including equipment repair and maintenance. Competence in welding techniques such as stick welding for metal fabrication or repairs. Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), engineering troubleshooting methods, schematics interpretation, and automation controls. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively resolve issues quickly while maintaining safety standards.
