In this role, you will provide maintenance and repair support across multiple commercial properties. We are looking for someone who is dependable, skilled in troubleshooting, and comfortable working independently while providing quality service to our customers and facilities. Why Join IFS? Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave 401(k) eligibility after 90 days Educational assistance for professional development Company-provided uniforms Mileage reimbursement for travel between sites Stationary and mobile work opportunities Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems and mechanical equipment Manage and complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time Perform minor carpentry, painting, fire protection, and door repairs Complete basic electrical and plumbing repairs Inspect and maintain roofs and perform minor roof repairs Coordinate and oversee on-site vendors and contractors, including landscaping, asphalt, and sweeping services Perform basic troubleshooting of building automation equipment and control systems Provide professional and responsive service to customers, tenants, vendors, and team members
Qualifications:
1 -2 years of experience in commercial facilities maintenance or a similar role Commercial HVAC troubleshooting experience High school diploma or GED required Technical trade school or relevant vocational training preferred Required certifications applicable to the position Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Professional appearance and conduct Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Pas a drug and background screen Ability to safely use hand tools and basic diagnostic/test equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work on rooftops more than two stories high.
