Maintains production equipment (including 24-volt ac/dc to 480-volt 3-phase electrical and other manufacturing equipment) to ensure safe, optimal operating condition for the protection of all plant employees and visitors. Conducts continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation. Performs preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment from blueprints, technical manuals, or vendor specifications. Recognizes and performs machine adjustments to the various manufacturing machine systems. Determines corrective actions based on operational and trouble messages provided by Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Display Monitors or other similar display panels. Assists with installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment. Understands and follows ALL Safety Management procedures and requirements and maintains applicable records. Participates in and oversees equipment changeovers as necessary. Notifies management of any potential equipment issues or other noted abnormalities. Assists management in training manufacturing employees in the proper use of equipment. Maintains organization of Maintenance Repair Area and any other area where repair work is in progress. Completes Work Orders and Assignments.Requirements:
2-year technical training in Electrical or Mechanical and/or 2 years of maintenance experience within manufacturing environment (preferred)- with willingness to learn.
