Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fence Installer and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute fence installation projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install fencing materials using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols. Perform heavy lifting and material handling to transport building materials such as wood, metal, concrete posts, and panels to designated work areas. Use carpentry and frame carpentry skills to construct fence frames, supports, gates, and related structures with precision. Follow construction plans meticulously to ensure fences are level, secure, and aesthetically aligned with client specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards including power tool safety and welding procedures when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and professionally. Skills Strong carpentry and frame carpentry experience with the ability to interpret construction plans accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry techniques for building material installation. Knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans for fence construction projects. Outdoor work experience with an understanding of landscape maintenance and hardscape installation is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing construction material handling efficiently. Excellent customer service skills to address client questions or concerns professionally during projects. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including construction site safety standards, power tool safety, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
