Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring production and facility equipment is always working. He/she will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment according to safety. He/she will follow preventative maintenance schedules along with existing equipment protocol including building maintenance.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

General knowledge required in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, etc.), pneumatics and electric drives to effectively perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance service. Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Ability to comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area. Machine set-up experience required. All other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and use measuring instruments, including rulers, micrometers (U.S. and metric), and digital measuring equipment preferred. Experience operating and troubleshooting production machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production schedules and performance expectations. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Basic computer skills and experience using computerized systems. Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential; excellent attendance is expected. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed, including extended shifts and weekends.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. One or more years of industrial, manufacturing, machine operation, or maintenance experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
