Job Description

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Industrial Maintenance Technician positions for a Manufacturing company. This role is a temp-to-hire opportunity. !
Duties for this position include:
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Perform maintenance and repairs on molds, tooling equipment, and related production components Inspect, adjust, replace, and repair cutting blades and associated components Diagnose mechanical equipment problems and respond quickly to minimize production downtime Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to established procedures Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues Coordinate with production supervisors and other maintenance personnel to address equipment concerns Follow all facility safety procedures and required PPE guidelines Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe
Compensation :
$24.00

Schedule :
AM Shift 4 days on / 3 days off schedule 12-hour shifts Week 1: Sunday
  • Wednesday OR Thursday
  • Saturday Week 2: Sunday
  • Tuesday OR Wednesday
  • Saturday Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: 1+ year of previous industrial equipment maintenance experience required Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Ability to read equipment manuals and basic mechanical drawings Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and respond promptly to equipment issues Experience in manufacturing or battery production is preferred Experience with cutting equipment, tooling, or mold maintenance is strongly preferred Ability to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment and production quality
