SUMMARY Responsible for the operation, setup, and maintenance of injection molding machines used to manufacture plastic parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards. Operate hydraulic and electric molding machines across multiple platforms. Prepare machines for production by setting up robots, molds, and workstations. Perform preventative maintenance checks on assigned equipment. Analyze electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems of plastic injection molding machines. Repair and diagnose problems with support equipment such as thermolators, chillers, air compressors, etc. Perform routine to complex production equipment installation, repair, and maintenance. Troubleshoot mechanical devices and equipment and determine needed actions for repair. Generates and maintains equipment specific files that include maintenance records and schedules. Responsible for their own tools. (Can use a corporate tool account) Maintain high standard of housekeeping on all machines, equipment and work areas. Other duties may be assigned.
