Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems across our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly by troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and installing essential equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge in a fast-paced environment while supporting our commitment to quality and efficiency. Duties Diagnose mechanical failures, perform repairs, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, presses, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems Maintain, and repair electrical control panels and systems, i.e., single phase and 3 phase electrical systems, motor control systems, etc. and hydraulic control systems, i.e., valves and solenoid controls Troubleshoot machinery issues and identify faulty components Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and parts replacement Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to schedule downtime for planned repairs with minimal line impact Basic fabrication skills to cut, shape, and weld metal Set up and operate drill presses to drill and tap holes in parts for assembly Accurately measure tooling, parts and machinery using standard measuring instruments Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Qualifications Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data Ability to communicate successfully to solve problems and troubleshoot with co-workers Ability to complete projects in a reasonable time without excessive supervision Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment Knowledge of welding, precision alignment, and hydraulics and pneumatics Join us as a Maintenance Mechanic to be a key player in keeping our facilities running smoothly! Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
