Commensurate with experience Position Summary Provides hands-on maintenance and repair across company's portfolio of residential, commercial and government-leased properties. This role requires working proficiency across multiple trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general grounds upkeep, and the judgment to know when an issue needs a licensed specialist. This is a standalone position who works priorities across the portfolio with little supervision. This position replaces a technician of 25 years and carries the same expectation of dependability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general building systems Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and follow up on lease-required repair items Perform basic landscaping and grounds upkeep, including irrigation checks, drainage, and coordinating mowing Respond promptly to property and tenant repair requests, including after-hours emergencies as needed Keep accurate maintenance logs and parts and inventory records Coordinate with outside vendors and licensed contractors for repairs beyond scope Stay on top of lease-required maintenance items, such as HVAC filters, light bulb replacement, and fire extinguisher checks Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on facilities or building maintenance experience Working proficiency in basic plumbing (fixture repair, minor leaks) Working proficiency in basic HVAC (filter changes, thermostat programming, basic troubleshooting) Working proficiency in basic electrical (outlet and switch replacement, light fixture repair, breaker troubleshooting) Working knowledge of general landscaping and grounds upkeep Able to diagnose a problem and determine when a licensed specialist is required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to work independently across multiple properties with little to no supervision Able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work outdoors in all seasons Reliable attendance and a proven track record of dependability Preferred Qualifications Experience maintaining commercial and residential-occupied housing or office space Experience with irrigation systems and grounds equipment Work Environment Regular travel among properties across SilverRock's portfolio. On-call availability for emergency repairs, including evenings and weekends as needed.
