This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who understands hotel maintenance standards and can follow direction while working independently. Position Overview Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure the hotel is maintained to brand standards, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and functionality . Key Responsibilities Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner Perform paint touch-ups, caulking, and wall repairs (sheetrock, patching, etc.) Address minor plumbing issues (leaking bathtubs, sinks, drains) Replace lights, fixtures, switches, and outlets Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the hotel Maintain exterior and curb appeal (trash removal, general upkeep) Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Communicate issues clearly and follow instructions from management What We're Looking For Previous hotel maintenance experience

REQUIRED

Strong attention to detail (this is critical for an older building) Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks without supervision Knowledge of caulking, painting, basic plumbing, and electrical work Reliable, consistent, and takes ownership of their work Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching throughout shift Flexible schedule (will include weekends) Perks Marriott employee discount Stable, hands-on role with growth potential
