Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Fabricate and weld components as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical knowledge and electrical skills
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
