Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills and expertise in facilities maintenance.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical knowledge and electrical skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
